Basic First Aid/AED/CPR - Mar 10

This medic course complies with OSHA and includes the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens regulation as it may apply to construction activities. This course trains in providing quality First Aid and CPR in appropriate situations. Also the use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) is on the rise and working knowledge of these devices can be crucial in a lifesaving situation. Hands-on working with AEDs is provided along with hands-on training to deliver abdominal thrusts in choking/respiratory obstruction situations. Attendees obtain a two-year First Aid and CPR certification. 

The CDC has approved this course as a refresher.

Tuition fees are directly paid for by the Carpenters’ District Council for craftworkers in good standing. AGCMO will invoice the union on behalf of the registrant. For those not paid for by District Council, the cost for AGCMO members is $65 and non-members is $85.
