Unit 3
Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays: April 12,14, 19, 21, 26
Time: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Central Time (CT) - (3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain)
The Essentials of Field Management course is designed to expand the knowledge of construction professionals who are looking to grow in their career. Ideal candidates for this course include field and project engineers, forepersons, assistant superintendents, and anyone looking to gain a thorough understanding of the commercial construction building process. Sessions include a deep dive into building a project from the ground up.
Unit 3: Finishes & Building Systems
In this unit, students will learn about major scopes of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and MEP as well as fire sprinklers, alarms, and smoke control. Additionally, the intricacies of specialty building types, including healthcare facilities, kitchens, and labs will be covered. The installation of tile, stone and flooring finishes will conclude this instruction.
