PROTECT YOURSELF. PROTECT OTHERS.
HOTLINE: 314-781-2356 extension 1050
AGC of Missouri and its members across the state are taking a pro-active approach to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Members of our Safety & Health Policy Committees for the Building Division and Heavy/Highway/Infrastructure Division along with the HR Forum met recently to confront the crisis, share resources and Best Practices, and address the issue head-on. Our goal is to provide resources to help keep your employees, suppliers and clients safe and to continue construction work with as little disruption as possible. Our customers need their projects completed on time and workers need their paychecks, so it’s up to each of us to help deter the spread of the virus as best we can.
Several of our members are generously sharing policies, communications plans and practices to help industry colleagues confront the crisis. However, please understand that you, as an employer, are responsible for your own company’s policies. Therefore we recommend you review all policies, memos to employees, etc. with both your Human Resource departments and legal counsel. It is our hope that these samples will provide helpful guidance and support as you implement your company’s own plan and work to maintain safe workplaces. We also urge you to coordinate site policies with those of your OWNER and also ensure that all of your subcontractors follow established protocols.
We all must Up Our Game to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and avoid work stoppages. Working together with full transparency through education and information sharing will help us do that!
The best source for timely information and guidance continues to be the Centers for Disease Control.
