Workshops are delivered via the Zoom platform; a webcam and mic are required for participation. Headsets or earbuds are strongly recommended.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to [email protected]

Meet Your Facilitator:

     

Mohamed Mohsen, MSc., CM-BIM, RICS, ACI, BPA, LEED GA, started his career in 2007 using BIM for architectural design and construction on several projects. Mohamed is currently the Digital Delivery Manager/ BIM Department Head of Engineering Consultants Group ECG, Qatar branch, which was founded at 1969, leading the design and construction of multiple Mega projects, ECG currently ranks 110th According to Engineering News-Record (ENR) on the list of Top 225 International Design Firms for 2023. Beside that he is serving as the Executive Director of Collaborative Practices Committee at Lean Construction Institute Qatar (LCIQ). Before these roles, Mohamed has worked as a board member for the BIM international conference BIM 2021 at Spain and as Adjunct faculty / BIM Instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCUQ) and The American University in Cairo (AUC- SCE).

Mohamed obtained his Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering with a specialization in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and environmental design integration from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2019. His thesis was titled “GREEN BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (GBIM) PROCESSES TO ACHIEVE PASSIVHAUS STANDARDS IN THE MENA REGION (EGYPT & GULF ZONE).”

Mohamed started with ECG in 2008 as an Architect and BIM specialist for Mega Projects and worked in many roles before being promoted to the Digital Delivery Manager/ BIM Department Head, Qatar Branch in 2015. In this role, he led Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts from a corporate level. Mohamed is a recognized speaker on Building Information Modeling (BIM), Digital Twin, and VDC, speaking at many International conferences at Spain, Switzerland, Egypt, KSA, Qatar and other industry functions and educational institutions.
